＜鴨居への電車の中で＞

劉：今日は少し、興奮してるよ！知っているのはたった一人だ。

蘇：そうね〜、メンメンが、来るの楽しみ！（Meng−Mengというのは女性の名前 だったのですね！:malik）
　　やっと、話が出来る人に会えそう。まだ、日本語がわからないから。

劉：これが、君の最初の寿司体験だね。最初は少しずつ、もし良ければもっととれ ばいいさ。
　　僕にとっては、問題ないけどね。多分、僕等は、少し遅れるかもしれない 。
　　日本人は、結構時間に厳しいからね待ってて、くれればいいけど。

蘇：わー、今日は本当に暑ジいね。＜nokoの真似：malik（笑）＞

劉：ソウデスネ！

＜寿司屋さんで＞

蘇：わ〜、今日の料理すっごくおいしそう！

劉：ソウネ。刺身以外に、どういった寿司があるかは、しらないよ。
　　ねー、その緑色の削って有る物はワサビというんだ。ちょっと気をつけて 。
　　そいつの特別な味は、鼻につーんと来るからね。ん〜でもって、あとで頭 の中まで、しみるから。
　　す〜んごく、わくわくする味だよ。今日は、ビールを飲んじゃってもいい かい？

蘇：いいわよ、でも飲み過ぎないようにね。でないと、家につれて帰れないから 。

蘇：ココにいる女の子たちは、みんな日本人のようね。誰が、Meng−Mengなのか なぁ？

劉：ん〜、多分、”彼女”は、まだ現れていないのかも。ま〜、いいさ。他の人 たちに混ぜてもらおう。

-------しばらくして、驚くべき事が判明した。ジャーン----

劉：え〜〜。天戸の隣に座っているのが、Meng−Meng！メンメンって男だったん だ！。

蘇：あ〜。私たちが、Meng−Mengは女性だと思っていたなんて、悟られないよう にね。シーーーー。

劉：料理はどう？食べられる？

蘇：味はいいわ。でも、変な感じ、大丈夫だけど。

劉：白い烏賊の味がいいね。試してみて。

蘇：自己紹介の時間だわ。何を言えばいいかしら？

劉：簡単な自己紹介だけでいいよ。もし、わかんなくなったら、コンニチワ、だ けで十分。心配しないで。

蘇：あの人たちの自己紹介やら、別の人たちのも聞こえないし、わからないわ。 とっても楽しんでうれしそう！

劉：僕等だって同じだろ。雷の音を聞くようにしていればいいのさ。

劉：みんなは君が、可愛いといっているんで、僕はとてもうれしい。

蘇：８年間も付き合っていたと話したら、みんなが少し変な顔をしたのは、どう して？

劉：２年前と同じだよ。日本人の言うボーイフレンドやガールフレンドは、僕等 とは違うんだろう。
　　多分、付き合っている最中でも、違うんじゃないかな？

蘇：じゃ、どんなふうにしてるの？

劉：シーー。家に戻ってから話すよ。いいね？

劉：カラオケに付き合わないか？って行ってるよ。どう？

蘇：行かないって、決めてたじゃない。昼食だけで、8,000円もしたのよ。予算 オーバーだわ。

劉：でも、ごらん。みんなはとても親切だし、僕たちに来て欲しいと、言ってい る。
　　今日のランチのために、こちらの女性は広島から、飛んできたと言うし、 僕たちももっと、騒ごうよ。
　　カラオケも、やってみよう。

蘇：ソウネ、お金のことなんか忘れて、今日は楽しもっか！

劉：ココには、華語も広東語の唄が無いよ。

蘇：何を歌えばいいかしら？

劉：ひとつだけある。英語の曲だ。但し、僕たちは余り上手くないけどね。

劉：あーっ。あの子、歌って踊り始めたぞ！日本人は、すんごくふざんけんのが 好きなんだ。
　　見知らぬ人の前で、ふざけるのになんも感じないのかな？

蘇：私は、何が何だかわかんなくなっちゃたわ。知らない人の前で、踊るなんて 、絶〜〜対、イヤだわ。

劉：僕が出会った大概の日本人は、カラオケが上手だし、日本人の女の子も大体 、ビールぐらいは飲めるよ。
　　君も、少しくらいビールが飲めるようになったほうがいい。

蘇：あなたがかまわないんだったら、もちろんそうしようと思うわ。
　　でも、あなたがそばに居るときだけよ。約束して。

劉：ココにいる数人は、ランカウィへ行ったことが有るんだって。
　　僕等は、行ったことがないのにさ、これでもマレーシアンだぜ、ハッ、ハ ッ、ハッ！

蘇：こっちの若い女の子は、来月、一人でマレーシアへ行くつもりなんだって。
　　勇気があるわね。フーーッ！とっても信じられない！

劉：そうだね。君が若いうちに、いろんな重い責任やら役目なんかに、がんじが らめに縛られない時に、
　　なんかやってみよう、というのはいいんじゃないの。

蘇：私が、あなたを縛っているとでも言いたいの？

劉：もちろん、違うよ。僕たちは、いつも一緒に旅をしているようなもんじゃな いかい、そうだろう？

蘇：そうすこし、馴染みのある、歌える曲を選びましょう。

＜On train to Kamoi＞

CJ : Today, a little exciting, I only know one of them.

Soo : ya ! hopefully Meng-Meng will come, so I had some one to talk to. I still can't understand Japanese.

CJ : This is your first time to try sushi, take little first, if U like it, take more. For me, no problem. : I think, we will be slightly late, Japanese are punctual on dating, hopefully they will wait.

Soo : Wah ! today food very nice & beautiful !

CJ : So ne, I didn't see any sushi, but mainly Sashime. Nah, that green grindded thing is Wasabi, be carefull, it's special taste will spark through your nose, & all the way to your brain. Very exciting taste. : Can I take beer today?

Soo : OK, but don't too much, I can't take U home.

Soo : All girls look like Japanese girls, who is Meng-meng ?

CJ : Maybe she can't make it .? It's OK, we try to mix with the others.

CJ : Ah ! the man beside Amado is Meng-meng !!!! Meng-meng is Man !

CJ : How is the food, can U take it ?

Soo : Taste good, but feel strange. still OK.

CJ : The white sotong taste good, try that.

Soo : Self introduction time, what should I say ?

CJ : Just simple introduction, if panic, just simple greeting.It OK, don't worry.

Soo : I can't hear & understand their self introduce, others then us, they feel so enjoy & happy.

CJ : Same here, like listen to the thunder storm.

CJ : They say U are beautiful, I'm very Happy.

Soo : Why they look one kind when we say we had dating for 8 years?

CJ : Same as 2 years ago, I think their definition of boyfriend & girlfriend is different from us. Maybe the thing they do when dating also different from us.

Soo : What they do ?

CJ : Shhh. I explain after going home. OK ?

CJ : They want to join the Karaoke as well. How?

Soo : We already decide not to go, this lunch already cost 8K,much out of our budget.

CJ : U see, they are so kind & really hope we can going. The lady can fly from Hiroshima to join this lunch, we better be sporty & U can experience the Karaoke here.

Soo : So ne, let forget the budget & enjoy today.

CJ : I did not find any Mandarin/Cantonese song here.

Soo : What can we sing ?

CJ : We have only one choice, English song. where, we both are poor.

CJ : Ah ! that girl start sing & dance, Japanese are very sporting, they didn't feel shine in front of stranger.

Soo : I definitely feel panic, & ask me to dance in front of stranger, no way.

CJ : Most Japanese I meet can singing good Karaoke & most Japanese lady can drink at least beer. U better start drink very little beer also.

Soo : If U don't mine, sure I will try, but only when U are around, promise.

CJ : Some of them had travel few time to Langkawi Island, we haven't been there, & we are Malaysian. ha! ha!

Soo: This young girl plan to go to Malaysia next month alone, She is brave. waooo....hard to believe.

CJ : yah ! It's a good try when U are young & not yet tie up with heavy responsibility & commitment.

Soo : Do U hint that I tie U up?

CJ : Of cause not. We can always travel together, isn't it ?

Soo : Let choice some most familiar song to sing.
